ACCOUNTABILITY & RESPECT

Womxn of Color Weekend (WoCW) in Provincetown, MA is a celebratory gathering of LGBTQIA+ women of color, non-binary, trans- and gender-fluid people of color, their accomplices, friends and families! The Planning Squad is dedicated to fostering a welcoming, safe, and non-oppressive environment. We understand safety is relative, so in this case we specifically mean safe from violence such as, but not limited to, all forms of harassment, transphobia, biphobia, homophobia, racism, sexism, classism and/or misogyny between attendees.

Any attendee engaging in oppressive/bullying/bigoted/non-consensual violent behavior may be:

• Asked to leave an event or workshop 

• Have their access to remaining events revoked 

• Prohibited from attending future Womxn of Color Weekend events

Additionally, refunds will NOT BE issued to attendees if their access is revoked for aforementioned behavior. We ask that you also let Planning Squad Members know of issues you may have with any of the venues we are partnered with throughout this weekend. 

REFUNDS

All sales, including partial payments and deposits, are final at the time of purchase. No refunds are available.

PHOTO/VIDEO RELEASE

​

The attendee agrees and releases Womxn of Color Weekend and their Collaborators (vendors, sponsors, representatives and agents) from any liability, loss, expense or claims arising from distribution, broadcast, sale or use of their likeness or voice as a result of attending the Weekend. 

The attendee further acknowledges and agrees that their image may appear in pictures or video taken during the weekend. The attendee agrees that WoCW may use images and video for promotional and advertising purposes. The attendee hereby authorizes the reproduction, sale, copyright, broadcast and /or distribution of said video, sound recording, and pictures without limitations.

If an attendee desires not to be included in any promotional pictures or video produced by WoCW, there will be an opportunity during registration to acquire a lanyard signifying that preference. Every attempt will then be made to exclude those attendees who are wearing the lanyard, but no guarantee can be made by WoCW that the attendee will not be inadvertently included. However, no photos of those attendees will be posted or used for social media, marketing or other public uses. 

The attendee also agrees and acknowledges that Womxn of Color & Weekend has no control over other participants' use of pictures or videos taken and agrees to hold harmless WoCW for their appearance in any other attendees/participants’ images or video.

The attendee also certifies that they are over 21 years of age for party and club admission.
